Mary Anna Jones Yeldell, 92 of Charlotte, Our Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend left this earthly life on Tuesday morning, June 9, 2020, and went home to be with the Lord.

Mary Anna Jones Yeldell made her grand entrance into this world 92 years ago in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Florence Grier Jones and the late Alfred Jones.

Mary was a graduate of West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, NC.  She retired from Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte, NC after 30 years of dedicated service.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Thomas Yeldell and Donald Yeldell; her brother, Henry Huey "Bootise" Jones and her sister, Vivian Lavon Phillips.

Cherishing her fond memories forever are her children, Debra Yeldell Williams, Elearnor Yeldell Williams, Alfred Bernard Yeldell (Linda), and Wesley Yeldell; one brother, James Jones (Edna); sister, Ella Ferguson; grandchildren, Travis Williams (Tara), Dominique Gunnings, Alfred Gunnings (Stephanie), Jacqueline Landers (Allison), Tamika White (Jerry), Latisha Harris, Nakia Brown, Juan Cuthbertson, Simeon Williams (Angela), Wesley Yeldell, Jeovonne Yeldell and D'Aria Huntley; twenty great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and best friends, Mary Galmon, Alberta Walker and Shirley Garner.
