Mattie Elizabeth Carter CHARLOTTE - Mattie Elizabeth Carter, 58, of Charlotte, passed on May 31, 2014, at Novant Presbyterian-Matthews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 12 noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3301 Beatties Ford Road. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Interment will follow at Beatties Ford Memorial Garden. Grier Funeral Service, 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte (704)332-7109 is in charge.
