Princess Melanie Anne Jones of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Atrium Main Hospital.

Melanie Anne Jones was born on October 29th, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mecklenburg County to Montist Jones and Diamond Barrett Jones. Melanie was called to meet with Jesus on Friday, November 29th, 2024, as she slept.

Melanie was such a blessing to us all.  Her angelic spirit brought us all so much joy.  Melanie quickly became a fundamental part of the family in such a short period of time.  We Thank God for the experiences we shared with her.

Melanie is survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Montist Jones; her siblings, Montist Jones, Jr. (affectionately known as MJ), Marlee Jones, Maliyah Jones, Eternity Jones, Josh Jones, Marvin Jones, Amir Jones, Jamaria and Nevaeh Jones; her grandmother, as well as her great-grandparents, along with six aunts, six uncles and several great-aunts, one in which Melanie was named after, as well as great-uncles and cousins.

Melanie's untimely passing was preceded by her grandparents, Donald Jones, Sr. and Thomas Barrett, Jr., as well as her grandmother, Patricia Fambro.

We Love You, Baby Girl.  You gave us so much joy.  It is going to be hard for us without you.  We will never forget you.
