Melinda Latrice Bethea, affectionately known as "Pooh", 40 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Atrium Health - Mercy.  She was born November 26, 1980 in Charlotte, NC to the late Robert Lee Robinson Jr. an Patricia Moorman.

She attended East Mecklenburg High School and was a co-owner of AMB Party Booth with her husband Adrian Bethea.  She enjoyed music, photography, trips to the beach and spending time with loved ones.  She loved big hair, dramatic makeup, and flamboyant personalities that matched her own.  Her favorites things and events to attend were weddings and birthday parties.  Parties of all kinds really.  Her hobbies included watching gossip columns and reading tarot.

She proceeded in death by her grandmother and grandfather. Robert Lee Robinson and James B. Moorman, Saphronia Lee Robinson, the father...Robert Lee Robinson Jr. and her favorite aunt, Linn Covington.

She leaves to cherish fond memories...her loving husband Adrian Bethea, two sons...Premiere Bethea and Kamari Bethea...three daughters...Jadaiya Bethea, Aunjel Bethea and Aubrianna Bethea.  Her mother...Patricia Moorman. Grandmother...Ada Moorman and Bonus mom, Joyce Phillips...Sisters and brothers... Bryan Moorman and (Tarina), Urhonda Phillips, Sharena Robinson, Robert Lee Robinson III, Robyn Robinson.  Brother-in-laws...Rodrickus Green, Jubril Bethea.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
