Mrs. Melvin B. Davis passed at Novant Presbyterian Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2014. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses at 3434 Maranda Road. Interment with family will be private. Survivors are: sons, Johnny Davis (Beverly), Frank Davis (Henrietta) and Michael Davis (Iris), all of Charlotte; Samuel Davis (Marilyn) of Cleveland, Ohio; Timothy Davis (Cynthia) and Thomas Davis, of Charlotte. daughters, Georgia A. Mills (Stanley) of Charlotte;and Nancy Peoples (Elijah) of Rock Hill, SC; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
