Michael Wilson passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, at Charlotte Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC. Michael was born May 21, 1957, in Charlotte, NC to the late Clarence and Janie Ruth Wilson.

Michael loved spending time with family and sitting in his van. He graduated from East Mecklenburg High School where he loved to play football.

He worked for Allison Fence Company and the City of Charlotte.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Ricky Wilson, Clarence Gilliam, and nephew, Barnette White, Jr.

He leaves behind a son, Michael Cousart; daughters, Angel Wilson, Pricilla Benjamin; brother, Kenneth (Ann) Wilson; sister, Paula Carr; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
