Michael Thomas McNair was born on April 28, 1988 in Washington, D.C., the first child of Theresa (terrie) and Darrel McNair. He was loved by many, and known by more as "Mike" , and referred to as "Spike" by his Mom. He closed his eyes on earth and celebrated his arrival in Heaven on Tuesday, December 26, 2022 at Novant Presbyterian Main Hospital at 2:05 A.M. He complete his assignment here at thirty-fours of age, and walked into the Grace of the God.
Mike enjoyed life to the fullest. He received his General Education Degree with additional courses in Business, including advanced skills in Microsoft Office. He then moved on to attend Full Sail University in Clearwater, Florida with a focus in Photography.
In his short life, he held various types of positions ranging from working at restaurants, to internships at Johnson Controls and Railroad Technician at Washington Metro Transit Authority. He was to begin a position with the City of Charlotte, in the same position as a Railroad Technician in February 2023. Mike was know for his ability to get exceptional jobs even though he moved on from them frequently.
His love of life extended to his family, beginning with his brother, Maxwell, to his "sister-cousins"-Amber, Dana, Taylor, Ciel, and Kai. This love extended to all of his second and third cousins: Cherees Fletcher, Tyler Lardy, Kiera Hunt, Aaron Moore (AJ), and Ariana Moore, who were also like sisters and brothers to him. The greatest and latest love of his life was his daughter Tyrese (Tottie) Stephens (11), born to him and Tiara Stephens. Michael enjoyed spending time with Tottie when he could, either in person or playing games together on their phones and chatting through texts. He enjoyed talking to his dad and Valerie (His wife), as often as he could. He spent many nights with his Mom chatting and recommending "cheesy" horrible movies. His most famous phrase to her was "Aw Ma, dat cheese"! He loved to eat, loved music, and spending time with friends and family. His infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
