Michael Maurice Wilson, 68, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Atrium Health-Main in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Michael Maurice Wilson was born January 9, 1958, in Mooresville, NC to the late Billy Archie and Vivian Ann Wilson. He went to his heavenly home in the early morning of Thursday, October 2, 2025.

Michael was a resident of Mecklenburg County and graduated from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. He attended higher education at Central Piedmont Community College.

He was a loving Brother, Father, Grandfather and Uncle. Michael was known to many as "Big Mike" and "Handyman Mike." He made himself available to fix whatever was needed.

Michael was preceded in the death by his father, Billy Archie; mother, Vivian Ann Wilson; and brother, Bobby Archie.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his daughter, Tenelle Potts of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Terry Wilson (Gina) of Monroe, NC, Billy Torrence and Billy Archie, both of Cornelius, NC; two sisters, Diane Donaldson (Teddy) of Cornelius, NC. and Denise Wilson (Todd) of Huntersville, NC; two grand-children, Sean and Sorriyah of Charlotte, NC; special friend, Audry Kerns; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
