Mr. Micheal Grier, 72 of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Atrium Main.

Mr. Micheal Grier, "Beamer" as he was affectionately called, was born to Ms. Catherine A. Grier on April 8, 1951 at the old Good Samaritan Hospital here in Mecklenburg County. He departed his life on Fri day, April 21, 2023 at Atrium Hospital after a long illness.

Micheal attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Isabella Wyche Elementary and York Road High School. Micheal was always a very caring and outgoing person. He never met a stranger.

Micheal accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Greater Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert . McGowens, Sr. in Charlotte, NC.

Micheal was a hard worker and had several different jobs growing up. His last employment was at McDonald's on Central Avenue for over 15 years.

Micheal was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Grier and Rickey Grier; grandmother, Ms. Geneva Grier; grandfather, Mr. Albert Grier; aunt, Ms. Evelyn Grier Gonzales; two uncles, Robert Grier and Albert "Bobby" Grier, Jr.; several great-aunts and great-uncles; his great-grandparents, Mr. Sam and Lorena Grier; other loved ones and friends.

Micheal leaves to cherish fond memories his mother, Ms. Catherine A. Grier; his daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Inga Samone and Ty Hamilton; two grandchildren, Mr. Tyleck R. Hamilton and Ms. Myiah A. Hamilton of Mint Hill, North Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. Joyce L. Reid (Leroy) and Ms. Kathy Y. Grier (Harold); three b rothers, Mr. Larry Grier, Mr. Darryl Grier and Mr. Julius Grier; one aunt, Ms. Betty Ann Gilmore and one uncle, Mr. Danny Jones (Missy); several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; three special friends, Mrs. Laura Daniels, Ms. Dolphin Smith and Ms. Marie Collins.
