Mildred Louise Wylie Sneed, 84 of Charlotte, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Novant Health Main.  She was born on October 16, 1937 to the late Earl and Lillie Mae Holmes.

Mildred was educated in York, South Carolina.  She worked with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for 34 years and retired from Selwyn Elementary School.

She joined Grace Memorial Missionary Baptist Church where she sang on the Hymn Choir, was an Usher and was a member of the Culinary Committee.  She was a dedicated member of the church.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Wylie of Charlotte, NC.

She leave to cherish her memories her daughter, Thomasenia Cathey; one grandson, Travis Cathey of Charlotte, NC; two granddaughters, Kailyn Cathey of Charlotte, NC and Leah Cathey of Burlington, NC; one nephew, Jessie Wylie, Jr. (Linda); and a host of other relatives and friends.
