Sister Mollie Lovelist Adams was born on August 22, 1926 to Donie and Luther Lovelist.  She was one of eight children, four brothers and three sisters.

Accepting her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age, Mollie joined Mountain Springs Baptist Church.  In 1953 she moved to Charlotte, NC. Shortly thereafter she married Henry Adams.  They had two children, Gary and Mahaley.  She became a member of First Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was a faithful, quiet, and committed member.

Mollie loved cooking and entertaining her family and friends throughout the years.  She was affectionately called "Aunt" Mollie by all.

The vibrant and blessed journey of Sister Mollie came to a close on May 14, 2019 after a lengthy illness.  She was the last of a generation, having been preceded in death by parents, husband, all siblings, and both children.

Left to treasure her memories are her faithful nieces, Victoria Lovelist and Betty Cannon, who were her loyal caregivers; five grandchildren, twenty-two great-grand-children, and thirty-eight great-great-grandchildren; three other nieces, including the eldest Rossie Roseboro of Charlotte, NC; and many nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
