Ms. Mona Dean Teasley, 65 of Charlotte, departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.  She was born on Saturday, July 20, 1957 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Benjamin Teasley and Mattie L. Teasley.  Mona D. Teasley was the last born of her eleven (11) brothers and sisters.  They saved the best for last! She was preceded in death by Rufus Teasley "Red", Carl Teasley, Benjamin Teasley Jr., Carolyn Teasley, Ruby Glenn, and Rosetta Magnum.

In 1975, Mona graduated from Independence High School.  After graduating, Mona attended several secondary schools.  Mona worked for various dry cleaners throughout Charlotte, but ended her journey at Collins Cleaners.  Mona enjoyed shopping, telling YOU what to do, and most importantly spending time with her granddaughter.  Mona enjoyed dressing up her granddaughter for activities.

Mona is survived by her two (2) sons, Teran Teasley and Marquis Johnson (Ashley), and granddaughter, Talia Kerby; two (2) brothers, Larry Teasley (Judy) and Lawrence Teasley (Shirley); two (2) sisters, Patricia Knotts and Ruth Locket.  Mona leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, special friends (Regina Tindal & Wanda Williams), friends, cousins, and other relatives.
