Norva Elizabeth Morrison, 71, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at University Place Nursing & Rehab

Norva Elizabeth Morrison, born September 9, 1954, had just celebrated her 71st birthday five days before her earthly passing on September 14, 2025, due to complications of several strokes she had suffered over the years.

Born to Thomas Morrison and Normesa Morrison, Norva spent much of her early days  in Charlotte, NC, attending Double Oaks Elementary, J.T. Williams Middle School and graduating as a Patriot from the illustrious Independence High School.  She continued her education journey by attending Bennett College in Greensboro, NC, where she earned a bachelors degree in education.

She was known as a dedicated and dependable hard worker, managing to hold down three jobs working for CMS at Rama Road Elementary as a second-grade school teacher, Sears,  and a managing member of the Kings and Queens Club owned by esteemed entrepreneur, Lucille Black.  In between her many careers, she also found time to write and type out the weekly sermons for her father, Elder Thomas Morrison, who presided over the congregation of the Charlotte Berean Seventh-Day Adventist Church.  Her empathetic heart and saintly patience made her loved by family and peers alike.

Norva was married to Gregory Roberts Sr. in April of 1991 and went on to have one child together, Gregory Roberts Jr., who both survive her and will continue to carry on her memory along with her many loving family and friends.
