Mr. Omar Taron Sheppard, 50, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Atrium University.

Omar Taron Sheppard, 50, was born on October 1, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York, to Charles Johnson and Brenda Sheppard. He peacefully transitioned to eternal life on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Atrium Health University City in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Omar attended a few schools but his Livingstone College days took him through life lessons and tasks for him to be him and then to enjoy the feeling of family.
To this day, Omar leaves behind a great foundation - his wife, Audrey Sheppard; mother, Brenda Sheppard; grandmother, Hazel Evans Sheppard; three children, Taron Simmons, Olivia Sheppard Franklin and Anaya Sheppard, and more family that can be named later.

Our dad was a great father.  He always told us we can push harder in order to succeed in life.
