Ora Lee Morrow Miller, 98, of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday,September 1, 2020 at Sardis Oaks Senior Living Center.

She was born June 9, 1922 to her parents, Owens Henry and Mammie Ailene Barnes Morrow of Lancaster, SC, who preceded her in death.  Ora Lee was the oldest of their five children:  Carl, Henry, Gertrude and Ethel Mae Morrow.  All preceded her in death.  In addition, one grandson, Leonard Adams, preceded her in death.

As a child, Ora Lee joined Steele Hill Methodist Church of Lancaster, SC.  She moved to Harrisburg, NC and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church.  Later in life, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she joined Gethsemane Baptist Church.  She joined various auxiliaries during her tenure at each church.  She maintained a strong Christian based faith relationship, touching lives everywhere she went.

Ora Lee enjoyed cooking all her food from scratch.  After a long day at work, you could find her sitting by the window or in a special corner quietly reading her Bible and praying while thanking God for all he had done for her family.  Ora Lee married Frank Miller and together shared three children to that union.  Her last words were, "I love everyone, my children and grandchildren."

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Adam Miller (Shelia) and two daughters, Brenda C. Lee and Joyce M. Adams, all of Charlotte; one grandson raised by her from birth, Adam F. Miller, Jr. (Sheneque) of Augusta, GA; two bonus children, Bishop W. C. Miller and Rosa Mae Walker, both of Charlotte; sisters-in-law, Margaret King McCaskill and Lila Copeland; thirteen grandchildren, Donald A. Cox, La'Trondra E. Adams, Cristee Adams, Breika Cox-Best (Kedron), VonCelle' Cox, Tristan Brewton, Kyrie Brewton, Dyrie Brewton, Adrianna Brewton, LeShawn Adams, Chantress Brewton, Danyelle Miller; great-grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Daisha Adams, Kyla Best, Le'Tysa Adams, Jalen Adams, Brelle' Best and Auburn Adams; three great-great-grandchildren, Eryn Miller, A.J. Miller and Jayceon Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
