Mr. Osborne Hamilton, 67 of Charlotte, transitioned from his earthly life to his eternal home on September 10, 2020. He was the son of the late James and Miami Wall Hamilton and was born on April 27, 1953 in the county of Anson and the town of Wadesboro, NC. He was the sixth child of seven siblings and the youngest among four brothers.
At an early age he gave his life to Christ.
He attended J. R. Faison High School and furthered his education at Central Piedmont Community College/C.P.C.C.
He was employed many years in the furniture and manufacturing industries in High Point/Winston-Salem, NC. Later he moved to Charlotte where he was gainfully employed as a supervisor with a warehousing company.
Charlotte became his home and city of choice during his adult years.
Osborne was a lifelong learner. He was an avid reader and sought to find logic, strategies, and motives or reasons for some of the complexities of live. He enjoyed discussing or engaging in conversation related to those topics.
He enjoyed playing recreational pool, horseshoes, watching the History channel, Westerns, Game shows, classical movies, sci-fi and sports via television.
Osborne is lovingly survived by his children, daughter, Ms. Katrina Hubbard and son, Mr. Wayne Hubbard. He is the grandfather of his beloved grandson, Terrance Hubbard. He also leaves to reflect upon many fond and cherished memories his sisters, Mrs. V. Diana Carlton (Beryl) and Mrs. Terry H. Howard (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC. An uncle, Acye Wall, Jr. (Ruth) and an Aunt, Nannie Pearl Porter all of Linden, NJ. Two special nephews, Joshua Hawkins and Gerald (Bud) Hancock, Jr. of the home. His prayer partner and cousin, Mrs. Linda R. Stinson of Charlotte, NC. Many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Osborne was predeceased by his brother, James El-Amin, Larry, Michael, and his sister, Mrs. Pamela H. Kearney.
