Mrs. Patricia Ann Holland, 77, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at her residence.
Patricia Ann Holland was born on June 19, 1947, in Columbus, Georgia to the late Sadie and Willie Lee Johnson. She was very proud of her Juneteenth birthday, spending lots of her childhood youth between Florida and Georgia with all her family. On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Patricia Ann Holland peacefully returned to her heavenly home.
Her family relocated to Rochester, New York where she attended Benjamin Franklin High School and graduated with honors. Soon after, she landed a great job working for the City of Rochester and attended Community College.
In 1972, Patricia married Clyde L. Holland and they moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where they raised four beautiful children - Connie Hogan (VA), Angela Stevens (MI), Adrienne Ransom (MI), and Asheley Holland (Robyn) GA.
Patricia was very involved in the community. She worked for Ann Arbor Public Schools and served in her local churches teaching Vacation Bible School, Sunday School and serving on the Usher Board.
She loved traveling especially to Israel and abroad. She was able to do lots of traveling. She loved shopping, reading and spending time with family and friends. She loved to fellowship with others and praise and worship.
One of her favorite accomplishments was moving to Oklahoma and attending Rhema Bible School and receiving her Ministerial License.
Our Mother was Queen. She loved Charlotte, she loved her friends, she loved church, she loved her children and grandchildren, but most of all, she loved God. She was the epitome of class and grace. She was a woman of faith who led with God's guidance.
In addition to her children, Patricia leaves to cherish her memories her sisters, Sylvia Johnson (FL) Theda Mizelle (SC); brothers, Gerald Johnson (NY), Joel Johnson (VA); grandchildren, Donnell, Jocelyn, Falan, Jarrius, Autumn, Azende, Alyssa, Jordan and Isaiah, whom she loved and adored. She also had eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins whom she had close relationships with.
