Ms. Paulette Powell, daughter of the late Marion and Minnie Powell was born July 11, 1947 in Charlotte, NC. She departed this life on July 22, 2020 at Novant Health Hospital.

She was raised by her loving grandparents David and Minnie Shannon Anderson of Charlotte, NC. Paulette attended public schools in Mecklenburg County. She retired from a reputable company, where she was one of the top machine operators. Paulette was a faithful member at New Bethlehem Holiness Church and served under Rev. Julius R. and Dr. Mildred F. Caldwell, and Rev. Nadine C. Houston.

Paulette leaves to cherish loving memories: one sister Margaret Brown, a godson, Julian Jant, and a goddaughter, Mil Jant-Kornegay (C.K.) all of Charlotte, NC. Close friends: Eddie and Doris Stevenson, Carolyn, and Barbara. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
