Peggy-Jo Giamabalvo, 81, of Charlotte North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on December 8th, 2025.

Born on February 20th, 1944, in Tucson, Arizona to Joseph and Margaret Mulvey. Throughout her younger years and beyond, she touched the lives of many through her chosen career in cosmetology, where she found great joy in helping others feel beautiful. Her passion and talent eventually led her to open her own business, “Nails by Peggy.”

In her spare time, Peggy-Jo enjoyed spending time with her beloved pet, Bear. Her Hobbies consisted of making jewelry and photography, creative outlets that reflect her artistic spirit and attention to detail.

Peggy-Jo is survived by her partner of over 30 years, Benjamin LeGrand; her sister, Carolyn Bentham; her children, James “Skipper” Bromfield; Joseph Bromfield; Richard Libby; Russell Libby, and Lisa Plummer; her five grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Desiree, Tiffany, and Alex, and her eight great-grandchildren.

Peggy-Jo will be remembered for creativity, warmth, and the many lives she touched through her work.
