Mr. Phillip Michael McNair, 58 of Charlotte, departed this earthly life on Monday June 8, 2020 at Hospice of Union County Monroe, NC. He was born to the late Leroy McNair and Amanda M. McCloud in New York.

Phillip attended the public schools of New York.  He secured employment with Heck's Department Store for many years.  Additionally, he worked at Krispy Kreme Donuts and Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

A gifted musician, Phillip began playing the drums for renowned gospel singer Pastor Shirley Caesar in the 1970's.  After relocating to Charlotte, he continued to minister on the drums at several area churches.

Phillip was a member of The Wings of Love Outreach Mission of Jesus.  He was ordained as a Deacon at Temple of Christ under the leadership of Bishop Lee.

He leaves to cherish fond memories to his loving wife of fourteen years, Patricia McNair, five daughters, two sons, one daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one sister, three brothers, two sisters-in-law, and a host of other living relatives.

Phillip left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with and will be greatly missed.
