With grace and peace, Priscilla Ann Whitley Vanderburg, lovingly known as "Tootie," entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She was 71 years old.

Born on December 5, 1953, in Mecklenburg Country, North Carolina, Priscilla was the daughter of Alice Whitley.  She was adopted and raised in Huntersville, North Carolina by Chris and Juanita Springs who provided her with a nurturing and loving home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Juanita Springs, and her birth mother, Alice Whitley Nance.

Tootie's memory will be cherished by her devoted family: her sisters, Alvi G. Houston and Zsa Zsa Cathcart, both of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Perry Sherrill of Charlotte, NC, Adrian Whitley of Seattle, WA, Benny Whitley (Ruby) of New Orleans, LA, and Matthew Whitley of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends who were touched by her kindness and spirit.

Tootie will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the joy she brought to every room.  Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her deeply.
