Rashad Lamar Nance was born November 6, 1987, in Sacramento, California to Jeffrey Bernard Nance and Jacquelyn McClinton Nance. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Rashad attended school in California, Japan, Alaska, Florida, and South Carolina. He graduated from Sumter High School in Sumter, SC. Upon graduation, he moved back to his parents' hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina where her remained. Rashad was employed at Walmart Corporation for many years where he progressed from a cashier to manager. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Rashad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Flossie Nance Massey, Gus Massey, Ruby Elizabeth  Glenn, Jasper McClinton, and brother, Derrick Nance.

He is survived by his two greatest joys, his children-son, Elijah Nance; daughter, Emani Joy Nance; his parents, Chief Jeffrey "Jeff" Nance and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Nance; sister, Tasia Nance Caple (Andre); niece Essence Conyers; three very special people-aunt Joniese Williams; cousin, Bryant Staley; and cousin, Erica Massey; and a host of other relatives and friends.
