Rhonda Ann Shipp was born in Charlotte North Carolina on March 30th, 1979 to Minnie Jean Douglas and Robert Pharr. Rhonda graduated from Providence High school, and quickly found her passion as a healthcare professional. She was a caring CNA, and was very loving to the patients she served. She later in life gave birth to Destiny Shipp, her only child on November 18th, 1998. Rhonda was a loving and caring mother that always showed understanding, a patience, and compassion to her daughter. In 2019 her family grew as, she became a grandmother to a set of beautiful twins Major, and Majorey. Rhonda loved spending time with her grandchildren as she was a devoted, supportive, and loving grandmother. Rhonda enjoyed watching movies, and being home. She loved her family and friends very dearly. Rhonda was a very quiet, optimistic, and positive person, even when faced with adversity. On August 9th 2023, Rhonda was called home to be with the Lord. She died peacefully in her home. She is survived by her only child Destiny Shipp, and her grandchildren Major, and Majorey Shipp. She has 6 siblings, Felicia Shipp, Shalonta Bryant, Steven D. Butler, Antonio D. Butler, William D. Butler, and Ianna Howard. 2 cousins Sheila Willoughby, and Latonya Williamson. She had a loving aunt and uncle Eddie and Hattie Mcnealy. Godmothers Carolyn Shannon, and Linda Camp. She leaves to cherish her a host of relatives, and friends.
