Richard Davis, 66, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte, NC.  

Richard Davis was born on October 1, 1959 to Robert Davis and Betty Harris, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Richard matriculated at East Mecklenburg High School. He was united in marriage to former wife Judy Davis and later united in marriage to Vanessa Jordan Davis in 2013.

Richard was a wonderful person and an overall great human being. Richard worked forty-five years for Synco Properties; he was very proud of this accomplishment. There were countless number of residents he made connections with and kept in touch with until his passing. Richard loved to fish; it was one of his great pleasures in life. He also liked listening to music and singing. He was a member of the choir at Eastway Church of God. Richard was always a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Davis. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Vanessa Jordan; step-daughter, Jazlyn; two sons, Ajene’ Davis (Ian & Olivia), Chase Prenzler and daughter-in-law, Jenna (Benjamin & Arlo); two brothers, George (Tina) Davis, Joseph (Sandra) Davis; two sisters, Patsy Gordon and Vanessa Hawthorne; former wife, Judy Davis; special friend, Russell (Susan) Ferguson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and former co-workers; and his beloved dog, Callie.
