Obituary

Richard Andrew McKinney, known to most as Rick or Ricky, was born to the late Willie Lee McKinney and Hazeline McKinney Patterson on September 25th, 1964 in Charlotte, NC.

Richard was preceded in death by his Father Willie Lee McKinney, sister Carolyn Ann Stewart Digsby, brother Antonia (Tony) Horace McKinney, and two sons Mario and Derrick Walker.

He attended Harden High School and was a jack of all trades but loved butchering the most as a long-time employee of Prestige Farms. Richard was loved by many and well known for his smiling and singing. He was all the kid's favorite uncle.

On May 6, 2021, Richard left for eternal life at the age of 56 years old . Those left to cherish and share precious memories are his mother Hazeline McKinney Patterson, siblings Catherine Delores Stewart Perkins, Willie James McKinney (Phyllis), Hayward Edward McKinney, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
