Mr. Ricky Dewayne Shelton of Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the age of 51.  Ricky was born on Thursday, July 11, 1968.  He Graduated from West Charlotte Senior High School And attended Florida Memorial University. His working career consisted of working with youth at the YMCA and Group Homes for over 20 years.

Ricky enjoyed traveling, sports, and researching using the most updated technological devices.   Ricky was outgoing, personable, met no stranger s, and could talk with anyone on any subject matter. He was family oriented, stayed in contact with family and friend s , and enjoyed His Mom.

He is survived by his mother, Frances Shelton, Wilmington, NC; brother, Horace Shelton (Eileen) of Wilmington , nc ; aunt, Julia Turn e r , Huntersville, NC ; And a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.  And a Special friend Kendra Anderson.
