Mr. Robert James Bess, 78 of Charlotte passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center- Main. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Grier Memorial Chapel, 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn-West.
