Michael Robert Herron, (67), of (Charlotte, NC), affectionately known as "Sno" by his family and many friends, passed away on (August 11, 2023) in (Charlotte, NC). He was born on (July 20, 1956) to the late Martha Sadler Herron (Mother) and Robert Herron (Father). He was educated in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and went on to have a successful career as a singer/songwriter and musician. He served many families, and congregations around Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas with his innate talent, whether it was singing and playing the piano or caressing the strings of a guitar. Much like a musician, His presence demanded your attention whenever he entered a room. Michael was renowned for his big personality, further described as vibrant, funny, and full of charisma. He was a man of many intriguing stories and enjoyed reflecting about bygone eras.
Michael often had humorous stories to remind us of play-by-play, unless there were instances in which he conveniently developed a tendency to selectively forget some details and encourage you to forget as well. (Lol) He would then pivot with "Do you all remember anything else, what about the other stuff I did? If you knew him, you knew that he wouldn't be gone too long, as he would always find a way to locate you, regardless of the distance between you or the length of time he had been separated from you. He was going to make an appearance because he loved his family near or far. Michael was a diligent worker who was devoted to this family, music, and church.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann Herron (4) daughters; Michelle Bankhead, Teaundra Miller, Nadia Herron, and Latashia Glenn, (4) sons; Robert Miller, Debriss Glenn, Robiento Glenn, Carlan Glenn and a special cousin Linda Burrus. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Taking into account many factors, we have all collectively experienced significant narratives, moments of joy, sorrow, challenges, and contentment with Michael in a manner that enables us to contemplate and maintain his essence in our future endeavors.
