Robert "Rob" Reives, II, 53, of Charlotte, departed this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina at Charlotte Memorial Hospital on November 23, 1968.
Rob is survived by his parents, Robert and Jarriette Reives; his two sisters, Felicia Haywood White and Natasha Horne (Alan); his step-brother, Talmage "Teddy" Richardson (Jacqueline); leaving a host of nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Rob graduated from Garinger High School in 1987 and also worked at Johnston Memorial YMCA. He attended North Carolina A&T State University and CPCC. While attending CPCC, he was employed with Harvey Gantt Architecture Firm as as surveyor. Rob left Charlotte in January 1996 to pursue his dream of becoming a music producer. He started his career working for Sony Music Entertainment. He owned JERMANlmusic Publishing Company. He was a producer, composer, song writer, singer and A&R creating crazy cool musical vibes from genres of R&B, Hip Hop to Rock & Pop. He worked with several artist such as Jodeci, Timberland, Missy Elliot, Static, Ginuwine, Aaliyah and 2Pac, which helped develop his greater music ear for this industry until his passing. He also received A&R credits for Dangerous Minds Soundtrack. Rob continued to work in the music industry until his passing.
