Mr. Robert Lewis McKee, 72 of Charlotte, passed away on July 10, 2019 at Mecklenburg Health Care.  He was born on February 7, 1947 to the late Jimmy McKee and Daisy Hemphill Turner.

Mr. Robert McKee was born in Rock Hill, SC, and then soon migrated to Charlotte, NC.  Robert worked for several years as an Independent Cement Contractor.  He took pride and joy in his work, and loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his twin Jimmy Lewis McKee; son, Robert Smith; Grandmother, Corisha Hemphill; two sisters, Geraldine Jones and Betty Mae Heath; and two brothers, Harvey McKee and Sammy McKee.

Robert leaves to mourn his wife, Diana Williams, four sons, Robert L. McKee Jr. of Fort Mill, SC, Antonio Williams (Marilyn), Antoine Williams (Nikia) and Rodriquez Williams (Tiffany) all of Charlotte, NC; three daughters, Shelia Smith (Bobby) of Rock Hill, SC; Patricia Bailey (John), and Tiffany Williams (Carlos) of Charlotte, NC; brother, James McKee (Gloria); uncle , Jimmy Turner, two aunts, Jesse Meeks of Brooklyn, NY and Mary A. Roseboro (Robert) of Charlotte, NC.

Robert had 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.  He has an enormous host of nieces, nephews and family members.
