Mr. Robert Franklin "Frankie" Metts, 72 of Denver, passed away on Tuesday, June 08, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on December 20, 1948, in Charlotte, NC to the late Roy and Thelma Metts.  He is preceded in death by his grandson, Tony Waters Jr.

Mr. Metts spent most of his life in Charlotte, NC.  He worked for B & G Lieberman for many years until his health failed him.

Frankie leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Kendell (Tony) of Denver, NC; grandson, Tony Waters II; granddaughter, Kourtney Waters; wife, Sara Metts; brothers, Johnnie Metts of Atlanta, GA, Eugene Metts of Baltimore, MD, Larry Metts of Concord, NC, Sinkler Metts of Baltimore, MD and sis, Demeatria Coulbourne-Metts of Charlotte, NC, a special niece, Kellie Cox of Denver, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
