Robert Thompson, Sr., 58 of Bronx, NY, departed this life on Sunday, May 8, 2022.  He began his Journey in Washington, D.C.  - his birthplace, and relocated to NC/SC with his Parents Hiram Sr. and Esther Thompson and three brothers, Mike (deceased 2018), William, and Hiram Jr. And Sister Patricia.

Robert Sr. Graduated from Richmond Sr. High School and then attended Richmond College/Monroe College, and got a degree in Business Administration.

Robert Sr. Applied his Management Skills in Food Service in which he loved to make a difference.

Robert Sr. Loved and Feared God; he faithfully served as he passionately spread the Word in the streets, workplaces, homes, and church pulpit.  He later relocated to Bronx, New York, for over two and a half decades and began his own family life with his wife, Cynthia Thompson, one daughter, Tanisha Clark, and one son, Robert Thompson Jr.

While living his life in N.Y.C. he worked for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority as an MTA Officer then later left to work at Hunts Point Terminal Market as a Public Safety Officer until his health issues attributed to his early passing.

Robert is survived by his wife, Cynthia Thompson, daughter Tanisha Clark, son Robert Thompson Jr., Mother, Esther Thompson, sisters Patricia McMillan and Kim Thompson, brothers, William Thompson and Hiram Thompson Jr., son in law -Steven Clark, nieces, Diane Cheek, Kierra Thompson, and Victoria Thompson, nephews, Michael Cheek, Lamont Cheek, Christopher Miller, Michael Thompson Jr., Cory Thompson, Cameron Thompson and sister-in-laws, Anitra McCloud-Thompson and Teresa Sistare.
