Roderick D. Burton, Sr., 53 of Charlotte, better known as Roger B, and Bdoe began his life on July 31, 1969 in Charlotte, NC, and shook his community with an improtu departure on September 12, 2022, which left many hearts broken.

If you knew Roger you knew that he loved the San Francisco 49rs as well as the home team Carolina Panthers.  I guess you can say he was a Pan Francisco Fan.  Roger B was a family Man and he adored his Children and Grandchildren.  Roger enjoyed life and each moment, he lived it to the fullest.  It wasn't a secret that red was Roger's favorite color and he wore it well whether it was in a jersey or a suit.  Roger was a magnificent cook and Roger loved himself some Chitterlings.

All of these fond memories are left to be cherished by his loving family, and friends.  Roger was preceded in death by his parents Marshall Westbrook and Betty Burton.  Roger leaves to cherish true love, special moments, silly gestures, and a life time of memories to his life partner, Renee Cloud; his children, Son, Roderick Burton Jr. (Destiny); Daughter, Tedra Burton (Julian); and Daughter, Jernicka Cloud.  Growing up Roger shared childhood memories with his siblings James Burton (Daisy), Kimberly Burton-Judy (Dean).  Roger was smitten by his Grandchildren and the way he smiled when he saw them was  a testament of how much family meant to him, leaves fond Papa memories to be cherished by Navaeh McCollie and Jontrez Young Jr.   He also leaves memories to be cherished by his Nephew, Kendrick Burton, and Niece, McKensie Judy.
