Rommie Lee "Tommie" Shepherd, 66 of Charlotte, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Mary Lee and Marvin Shepherd was born on July 6, 1955.

"Tommie" as he was affectionately known grew up in Holly Hill, South Carolina where he attended public school and graduated from Robert's High School.  After graduation "Tommie" joined the United States Army and served 4 years.  He also took pride in working with Continental Tire Inc.

At a early age he joined and attended the family church Greater Target African Methodist Episcopal Church in Holly Hill, SC.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Liz" Shepherd and three siblings; Demon Shepherd, Geraldine Shepherd, and Joan Shepherd Kendley.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories:  Two sisters Claretha Shepherd and Lola Shepherd Flemming, both of New York; one brother Pete Shepherd of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
