Mr. Ronnie Allen Hoover was born to the late Odell and Ora Hoover on December 13, 1953. He departed this life on Friday January 08, 2021 at Atrium Health-Main.

He graduated from Harding High School and furthered his education at Western Carolina University on a basketball scholarship. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He LOVED to play the lottery.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Doris Hoover Mobley.

Left to cherish his memories his children, daughter, Alexis Hoover-Holt (Wesley) and son, Philip Hoover, grandchildren, Zoe Finger and Aubree Holt, siblings Shirley Chisholm, Kay Hoover Thompson, Terry Hoover, Gary Hoover, Ricky hoover (Geraldine) and a host of family and friends.
