Obituary
Rosa Lucas Carter was born August 8, 1931 in Georgetown, SC to the late Carrie & Rev. Peter Frazier. She attended Georgetown County SC Public Schools and always valued education.
On January 13, 1957 she was united in holy matrimony to David L. Carter. She joined Berean Seventh Day Adventist Church in 1961 under the leadership of Pastor L R Hastings. She serves in many church organizations such as Sabbath School Usher Board #1, Community Service, Deaconess dept. and the Golden Age Choir. She loved church family and was faithful until her illness.
She is survived by her loving husband David L. Carter of Charlotte NC, daughter, Barbara J. Lucas of Charlotte NC, grandchildren, Samantha Thorne of Hyattsville MD, Renee Tay, Andre Tay of Greensboro NC, Joseph L. Thorne (Jessice) of Charlotte NC, and Jared L. Thorne (Siesiaki) of Hickory NC, Rev. Christopher Mathis (Gossie) of Orangeburg, SC, great children, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
