To know her was, and always will be, to love her.  Rosalyn Diane Moore Duncan, 64 of Charlotte, died on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina, after a courageous battle with pneumonia.

Rosalyn was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 18, 1958, to the late Sammie Lee and Annette Moore, who were firm believers of God.  Until the end, Rosalyn believed in God and praised Him, as her parents had instilled in her.  Rosalyn was strong-willed but always loving and kind.  She made a positive and lasting impact on everyone she met.

Rosalyn was a hard-working employee of Baldor Electric Motors for 35 years until her retirement in 2019.  Her work family of Cletus, Mildred, Kathrine and Tyrone, made work enjoyable.  It was easy to love her job knowing she had each of them.

Brittany Duncan, her daughter and caretaker, was Rosalyn's best friend, followed by her cousin, Johnsie Broome.  Rosalyn will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her, and we will continue to honor her memory.

Rosalyn is survived by her two children, Jamontal Moore and Brittany Duncan; her bonus daughter, Amber Moore; three grandchildren, Calum Moore, Christopher Moore and Kamari Duncan; her five siblings, Sandra, Shirley, Teresa, Sammie Lee Jr., and Patricia Moore; and her bonus sister, Veronica Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
