Ms. Roslyn Emanuelle Craig, 74, of Gastonia, NC, departed this life on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Charlotte Health & Rehab.

Roslyn Emmanuelle Craig, 74, was born on October 7, 1949, to the late Paul and Jessie McCoy. She entered her heavenly home on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Roslyn was a proud graduate of Peabody High School and was employed for many years in hospitality services.

Roslyn was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved fishing, cooking, reading novels, attending concerts, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Roslyn was a night owl and she loved watching movies with her children and grandchildren. She could remember every character and every scene from every movie that she had watched. Roslyn's all-time favorite was playing spades and bid whist.

Roslyn is preceded in death by her loving parents, Paul and Jessie McCoy; her sister, Jarriette Reives; her nephew, Robert (Rob) Reives II; and her life partner, Herbert Ruth.

Roslyn leaves to cherish her memories her son, Xavier McCoy (Cynthia) of Stanley, NC; daughters, La'Griera Craig and NaTyra Craig, both of Charlotte, NC; her special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Timothy McCoy of Moore, SC; nieces and nephews; her life-long best friends Elsie Ridenhour and Linda Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
