Mr. Rufus A. Williams entered into life on January 10th, 1958 to the late Edith Mae Jones Williams (Mother) and Turner Williams (Father) in Norfolk, VA. He entered into eternal rest on August 19th, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones.
Rufus attended High School in Norfolk, VA. He later went on to serve his country in the US Army. Later in life he was an over the road truck driver.
Rufus loved his mother, fishing, music, dancing, playing the lottery, family gatherings with matching PJ's and his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed a cold beer while people watching on the patio, hot morning coffee and home projects. He was known to family and friends as Rudy, Big Rudy or Big Will. Rufus will truly be missed by family and friends.
Previously departed loved ones include: Mother Edith Mae Jones Williams, Father Turner Williams, Brothers James Williams & Turner Williams Jr. (Short), Sisters: Peggy Jefferson & Melba McCovery.
Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his loving memory: his son, Rufus Williams Jr., daughter, Takeema Williams (Dianne W.), son, Domminick Williams, daughter, Zoe Williams; Bonus sons: Jonathan Jewell, Micheal Pierce (Teresa M.), Trevion Williams (Carmentia S.); Brothers: Don Williams (Rose), Milton Champ Williams; Sisters: Fannie Parker & Rose Rere Williams; Grandchildren: Davon Williams, Ross Bishop, Chase Williams, Tynesia Williams, Syniyah Williams, Sophia Williams, Skylar Maiori, Khloe Davis, Jashi Downing, Avori Jewel, Jordin Pierce & Avori Pierce and a host of other family members and friends.
