Ruth Jeffery passed on July 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital, Oster Bay, New York. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Greater Galilee Baptist Church, 501 West Park Avenue Charlotte, Rev. Robert L. McGowens, Sr., pastor. Dr. James E. Potts, officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. in Grier Memorial Chapel. Interment will be on Friday at York Memorial Park.
