Mrs. Sadie Lenora Whitley-Boyd, 51 of Charlotte, departed this life and went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Atrium Health-University. She is the daughter of the late Dorothy Carr and Bubble-Lee and was born January 12, 1969.

She attended Huntersville Elementary, East Mecklenburg High School, then she finished off her education at Central Piedmont Community College.

Sadie had a variety of trades and skills from her careers within Taco Bell, Charlotte Mecklenburg School System, Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Dept, as well as Carolina Health Care System.

Sadie loved her husband, son, sisters, and brothers with all of her heart.  Family gatherings were he big thing.  She loved when the family and friends got together to fellowship.  She also loved old TV shows, listening to a variety of music, wind chimes, and sitting on her front porch.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, and Grandmothers.  Left to cherish her memories are Roger Boyd (Husband), Andre Whitley (Son), Sisters, Patricia Carr-Hames (Albert Hames), Teresa Carr-Hardy (Samuel Hardy), Anita Carr, Shawne Carr, Candi Carr, Tiffany Carr, and one brother, Jonathan Carr.  She is also survived by 5 Nieces and 9 Nephews.
