Mrs. Sebrena Renee Johnson, 61, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Atrium Main.

Sebrena Johnson, 61, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 23, 2024.  A vibrant soul, Sebrena will be remembered as a confident, creative, and stylish woman who lived life unapologetically.

Born on January 21, 1963, Sebrena had a zest for life that shone through in everything she did. Whether she was creating art, dancing to her heart's content, or listening to the soothing rhythms of jazz, Sebrena infused her world with beauty and joy.

Known for her impeccable fashion sense and love of animal prints, she was truly the life of the party, always ready to dazzle in front of the camera with her radiant smile and striking presence.

Sebrena's greatest joy came from sharing her passion and love with her family. She leaves behind her beloved parents, Paulette and Arthur Hoover; her cherished daughter, Lytoa Hoover; her devoted siblings, Shilette Hoover, Yogananda Powe (Keith), and Aone Arthur Hoover (Shonte); her treasured grandchildren, Marquail Moses, Ezekiel Hoover, William Holloway III, and Sean Holloway; her great-grandson, Elias Moses; a special cousin, Dawna Trammell (Kenneth); an amazing aunt, Adelaide Starke (Charles); protective uncles, Charles Welch, James Welch (Louise), Clifford Welch (Constance), Dr. Eddie Hoover (Janice), Judge Donnie Hoover (Josephine); along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

While we are mourning the loss of Sebrena and her physical presence will truly be missed, her family and friends will forever carry her love, confidence, and artistic legacy in their hearts.
