Mrs. Sheila H. Whitt, 58 of Charlotte, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Atrium Health-Pineville.  Mrs. Whitt was born June 19, 1962 in Monetta, South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert Hendrix and Catherine B. Hendrix.

Sheila was educated in the Aiken County School System and graduated from Ridge Spring Monetta High School.  She married her childhood sweetheart, Arthur Whitt and they had three children, Alicia, Arthur and Eric.

She was an active member of World Worship Church where she served as a greeter.  Sheila worked as a Senior Accountant at American Red Cross in Charlotte, NC.  She enjoyed crafts, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.  She loved church, reading the Bible and listening to church music.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitt was preceded in death by four brothers, Andrew Hendrix, William "Huck" Hendrix, James Willie Hendrix Sr. and Bobby Hendrix; and sister-in-law, Rose Hendrix.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Arthur Whitt; three children, Alicia Hendrix, Arthur O' Brian Whitt (Shayna), and Eric Whitt, all of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, Tanysa Whitt, Aaliyah Hendrix, Arthur Amir Whitt, Amari Whitt and Ava Lee Whitt; one sister, Cynthia Andrades of Columbia, SC; three brothers, James Robert Hendrix (Mary Ann), Charlie Hendrix, both of Monetta, SC and Robert Williams (Wonda) of Aiken, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
