Mrs. Shirley Ann Donald Epps, 72, of Statesville, NC, departed this life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her residence.

Born on January 29, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Shirley was a proud graduate of West Charlotte Senior High School. She carried the values of hard work and perseverance throughout her life, always facing challenges with strength and determination.

At a young age, Shirley accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior.  For many years, she and her family attended First Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Moneca Donald and son, Marco Donald; and her siblings, James Donald Jr., Gregory Donald, Donald Lee Donald, Patricia Donald, and Richard Donald.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Thomas; father, James Donald Sr.; sister, Barbara Thomas, and aunt, Thelma Thomas.

Shirley fought the good fight and will be remembered for her resilience and spirit. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
