Shirley Elizabeth McNeill was born on August 15, 193, to Blanch and Eugene Miller in Gretna, Virginia. She entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was 88 years old.

Shirley was educated in South Plainfield, New Jersey and later in life obtained an associates degree in Business in Charlotte, N.C. She worked for Carolinas Medical Center in Accounts Payable and retired in 2005.

Her hobbies included traveling, cheerleading with the Silver Foxx, and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, Blanch and Eugene Miller, Shirley was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Miller, Eugene Miller; and two grandsons, Rinardo Montford and Nader Farag.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her children, Sidney Miller, Brenda Miller, Francine Black, Dale Miller, Derek Miller, Darin Miller, and John McNeill, Jr.; grandchildren, Jenee Montford, Gamel Farag, Kendric Bostic, Jalyn McNeill, John McNeill, III; brothers, Curtis Miller and Phillip Miller; sister, Rose Marie Densen; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
