It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we inform you that Shirley Marie Rachal Screen passed away on January 4th at Atrium Health University City hospital in Charlotte, NC.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (G-Ma), sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her children: William, Christopher (Christian), Derik and Tra'jyseia; her daughters-in-law: Michelle, Kirsten, and Katrina; son-in-law: Donald; her grandchildren Madyson, Maya, Riley, Jaxon, Dylan, Christopher Alexander, Grayson, Graham, Mekhi; her brother Melvin; sister-in-law: Denise; nieces Nikki and Stephanie; nephew Kevin; cousins and other relatives and life-long friends.

Shirley was a graduate of Southern University and A&M College (Baton Rouge, LA) where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration. She started her career at General Electric and became a homemaker and small business owner who had a passion for sewing, childcare and handmade crafts.

Flowers may be sent to the Grier Funeral home at any time or in-lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Church of Harrisburg or the Women's Impact Fund (https://womensimpactfund.org/page/Donate) in the name of Shirley Rachal Screen.
