Mr. Terry Louis Houston, 28 of Charlotte, passed away suddenly on Friday February 15, 2019 at his residence.  Nicknamed "Fat Boy" by everyone who loved him, Terry was a gentle giant.  He was the most genuine man you would ever want to meet and he touched the lives of many.  He was kind, full of love and joy!  His laughter was contagious and we will no longer experience this beautiful kind spirit.

Terry was baptized at an early age and recommitted his life as an adult to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He was a graduate of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools where he excelled in math and became a helping hand for teachers and students.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis J. Duncan, who welcomed him to his heavenly home, alongside his grandparents, Teeny and Mary Houston.

Terry leaves behind a strong and beautiful legacy through his son, Terry Lewis Houston.  Terry is deeply loved and will be painfully missed by his mother, Delores Houston and his beloved siblings, Teena Houston, Tearrance Houston, Todde Houston, Terrell Houston, Sparkle Farrar, (Gordon), Lewis J. Duncan, II, Maria Duncan, Dontae Farrar, MaKeisha Duncan, all of Charlotte, NC and DeMareeo Farrar of New York City.  Also left to cherish his memories are his five uncles, Alexis Houston (Venita), Anthony Houston (Karen), Rickey Hall Sr., Alexander McManus, Marcus Price and four aunts, Madeline Mason (Iarwin), Arnetta Houston, Sharon Hall, all of Charlotte, NC, and Sabrina Houston of Sacramento, CA; one great-uncle, Willie Fred Jordan (Jonnie Mae) and two great-aunts, Carrie Montgomery and Brenda Raley, all of Charlotte; one special friend, Ebony Johnson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
