Obituary

Terry Ann Bennett Ragin-Bey was incarnated in the flesh on November 20, 1953 to Richard and Adelaide (Johnson) Bennett in Orange, New Jersey. She transitioned on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at The Divine Blessed age of 67.

Terry was a scholar of her own right.  She loved to learn and share knowledge with anyone that was receptive.  She graduated from Orange High School, Orange, NJ in 1971.  Shortly after she turned the tender age of 18, Terry entered The United States Air Force.  She then furthered her education with receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, NC in 1982 and a Master of Business Administrative from Strayer University, Washington, D.C. in 2011.  All knew her to be a studier of The Divine, The Spirit, and The Truth.  Over time, Terry continued to grow her knowledge of The Divine which led her to join the Self-Realization Fellowship, become a Reiki Master, and a beacon of knowledge of the University for all that seek.

To know Terry was to love Terry.  She was the same everywhere she went.  She spoke her Truth and stood firmly in Truth wherever she went.  She would often say, "You can take it or let it alone."

Terry's favorite past times included studying Divine/Truth and planting seeds of knowledge in her family.  She was a caretaker for her family by making sure everyone was okay.  She was our modern day Renaissance Goddess that had many talents including being a painter, writer, poet, flower grower, and one of the best cooks you ever knew.

Throughout Terry's Earthly life she was a brilliant entrepreneur that formed numerous businesses: Terry's Candle Creations, graphic t-shirts, marketing consultant, fragrance maker. Her most proud business was her booth and diner at Sweet Union Flea Market in Monroe, NC.

We will cherish every moment in our hearts and know she is still "Alive", just in the form of the "Real" (Spirit/Energy) that reaches to our soul.  Terry leaves loving and joyous memories to her son, Nicholas Ragin (Ebony Sass-Ragin)- daughter, Crystal Lattimer, granddaughter-Nadia Ragin, grandson-Emmanuel Sass, sisters-Pamela Robinson and Sydney (Leon) Wright, nieces-Pamela Camp, Davida Ferguson-Ragin, Sydney M Ragin, Nakita Camp, Monica Ragin, Leya Wright, Kalika Edmonds, Arianna Edmonds, Kimora Ragin, nephews-Timothy Camp, Christopher Wright, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and beloved friends.
