Ms. Thealos Ray Walker was born May 11, 1926, in Charlotte, North Carolina as Bertha Thealos Ray, to the late Gracie Harris Ray and Caldwell Bus Ray.  On Thursday, February 10, 2022, God sent his angels to bring her home for her eternal resting place.  She attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools and worked for many years at Qualex, Harris Teeter and Presbyterian Church (Daycare).

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walker, Mother Gracie Harris Ray, and Father Caldwell Bus Ray.  Three sisters Camay Ray; Annie Mae Johnson and Ora Ray.  Five brothers William (Bill) Ray, JB Ray, Jim Ray, Gradie Ray and Zanders Ray.  She is now survived by her son, Grady Walker (Deborah). Brother Junior Ray of Joliet, IL. Her two Granddaughters LaTonya Walker Lewis and Tawianna Philips.  Her Grandson Grady Walker Jr (Keisha).  Her two Great Grandsons Reginald Walker and Jonathan Grier (Kurston) and one Great Granddaughter Monica Cox (Chris).

Ms. Walker also known as our loving "Grandmother" leaves to cherish six great great grandchildren, Kamaya Philips, Skyler Walker, Jayce Grier, Kyle Walker, Asante Philips, and Karter Grier.

Although she leaves a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.  The Walker family would like to give special thanks to Angela Jackson of Baltimore, MD, Danielle Jackson, Raquel Jackson, Janice Ware, Teresa Ray, Cassandra Stevens, Robbie Ross of Virginia, Reggie Wilson, Derek Ray of New Jersey, Ronald McClinton, Nannie McClinton, Claudette Allen and family, Dexter Green and the Green Family, Reverend Rudolph and the Hendricks family and Marchella O'Neal and the O'Neal family.
