Mr. Thomas Brown was born in Charlotte, NC on June 18, 1950 to the late Simon James and Ola Mae Woods. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, David Woods, Jr. (Julia). Thomas departed his life on October 3, 2023 at Atrium Mercy Hospital.

He attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools; later working various locations until ending up at Queens's College as a Facility Cleaner.

Mr. Brown lived a "no worries" lifestyle and enjoyed it to the end; watching sports while celebrating with family and friends. His smiles of joy and sounds of laughter will truly be missed.

Thomas leaves to carry on his memories one son, Keith Higgins (Michella); three daughters, Tiffany Higgins, Natasha Brown, and Aqwanda Moore; seven grandchildren; one brother, Anthony Woods (Robin); one sister, Sandra Woods, all of Charlotte, NC along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who loved Thomas dearly.
